Cathay Investments 2 acquires Williams of Swansea
Cathay Investments 2 Limited is pleased to announce the acquisition of Williams of Swansea Limited as of January 2015.
The acquisition follows the recent purchase of Perkins Group Services and Humatt Limited and will now form part of a new distribution network based in the UK with both domestic and Far East sourcing.
Williams is a long established wholesaler of Stationery and Toys and the acquisition is intended to strengthen the group and provide all customers with a larger offer extending to non foods with new promotional and seasonal opportunities. The UK retail market has been challenging and this new development will benefit all existing customers.
We can confirm that the Williams business and staff will remain unaffected and continue to trade as normal. The development and formation of the new group will strengthen the position of the company and allow it to build upon its reputation for good service. Cathay Investments 2 look forward to the opportunities ahead and the development of a customer focussed business that will understand the needs of the customer and the demands of the future.
